My Therapeutic Approach

I offer high quality online therapy using the Zoom platform as it is encrypted and protects your privacy. Short-term and longer-term therapies are available. I specialise in Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT), which is an inclusive therapy, with focus on the social and culture context of each individual’s life.

I also have expertise in EMDR (eye movement desensitization and reprocessing), a therapy recommended to process traumatic memories. Furthermore, I have additional training to integrate techniques from other therapeutic approaches to offer a bespoke therapy tailored to meet individual needs and preferences including cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), compassion-focused therapy (CFT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), internal family systems (IFS) and mindfulness. Online sessions are 50 minutes in duration. Standard fees may vary depending on individual circumstances and concessionary rates. Please contact me for more details.

I offer therapy to help with:

Stress

Bereavement and loss

Cognitive Analytic Therapy (CAT)

CAT explores noticing, understanding, softening and changing patterns of thinking, feeling and behaving that repeat in interactions with others and ways of relating with yourself. CAT specifically explores early life experiences, important past and present relationships, unhealed emotional pain, and uses therapeutic letters and therapeutic diagrams to explore choices and alternatives for the future.
